Item Description

1 Liter of Vermont Maple Syrup

At Upstream Sugarworks, we’re continuing the long tradition of maple sugaring along the headwaters of Baldwin Creek in South Starksboro. For seven generations, our family has been stewarding these same forests and we’re excited to follow in the steps of our ancestors to bring you the highest-quality, wood-fired pure Vermont maple syrup out there. We tap about 650 maple trees. Mike is the primary sugarmaker with lots of help from his wife, Erin, and our two sons, Wylie and Birch.

Our delicious, pure Vermont maple syrup is:

Wood-fired - All our syrup is made using the traditional wood-fired method long used by our family to make maple syrup from our woods.
Single-source - All the sap that we make into syrup comes from our family property in the front range of the Green Mountains
Ecologically-produced - We manage our forests for maximum health and biodiversity, mitigating the risks of climate change and ensuring that our sons will have healthy woods someday if they want to take over the family business.

If you'd like to purchase our syrup, please be in touch!
