Item Description
Carry your wine with character and culture.
This handcrafted wine bottle carrier is made from repurposed 100% wool rug fragments—each piece a unique blend of Qashqa’i tribal weaving, Baluch Soumaks, and Gabbeh designs from southern Iran. Finished with hand-stitched leather, it’s both a functional carrier and a statement piece, perfect for gifting, picnicking, or sparking conversation at your next gathering.
Persian nomads once used these textiles to transport blankets and food. Now, they’re transformed into durable, beautifully textured carriers that honor centuries-old craftsmanship. With space for two bottles of wine (or perhaps, sparkling water), and a convenient 30" shoulder strap, it’s ideal for stylish entertaining on the go.
The city of Shiraz once produced the finest wine in the world, dating back to 9th century Persia. In a way, you can consider these carriers a homage to their historical roots.
